English-Spanish Bilingual Flashcards for Toddlers: Colors [My First Flashcards Series]

My First Flashcards (English-Spanish) is a series of printable PDFs with flashcards that help you teach your children both English and Spanish and have fun along the way! The Colors printable covers 12 words - colors ranging from red and yellow through pink and purple all the way to black and white.

Immediately upon purchase, you will receive a PDF file with instructions about how to use the file and with:

1. Large bilingual flashcards that are great for teaching your child new words
2. Picture, English word, and Spanish word flashcards that are great for revising newly learned words and playing games like memory

Thanks to the two types of flashcards that are included, you will be able to use the flashcards in the following three ways:

1. LEARN: Take the large cards and show them to your child while reading each word, just like you would with a picture book. To make things easier, you might want to bind the large cards together with a ring or in a similar fashion.
2. REVISE: Take the smaller cards and have your child match the word cards to the corresponding picture cards or the word cards with each other.
3. PLAY: Lay two types of the three smaller cards types (either the picture cards and one of the word card sets, or both of the word card sets) face down on your table. Play a game of memory by flipping two cards over in turns in order to find matching pairs.

About Raising Bilinguals

Having grown up bilingual and gradually acquiring a third language, I understand the importance of starting early, as well as the incredible benefits of speaking more than one language.

Now, I am on the other side of the table, trying to raise a bilingual daughter. I started Raising Bilinguals as an extension of that endeavor. My goal is to create resources that will help you (and me) raise a bilingual child.
